About this walk
A dramatic walk up the eastern flank of the Howgills to England's highest cascade above ground, tumbling nearly 200 metres down a rocky amphitheatre. The path is clear and well-used, and the roar of the falls after rain is unforgettable. A quiet alternative to the Lake District honeypots.
