About this walk

A short, flat circuit of the private-but-permissive Redesmere lake near Capesthorne. The path hugs the water's edge for most of its length, with willows, wildfowl and a scattering of moored dinghies at the sailing club end. Perfect for an after-work stroll with a dog, or as a warm-up before heading on to nearby Capesthorne or the Gritstone Trail.
