About this walk

A high pebblebed heath and pine wood on the ridge behind Sidmouth. From the Peak Hill car park, waymarked tracks cross gorse and heather with sweeping inland views across the Sid Valley to East Devon. Named after the 18th-century smuggler Abraham Mutter. Well inland of the coast path.
