A South Downs National Park walk near Petworth centres on Petworth Park's deer park and woodland. Dogs are welcome, required on lead in the Pleasure Garden and allowed off lead under close control in the Deer Park, home to fallow deer. National Trust car parking is available off the A283 near Petworth House.
