About this walk
A steep-sided dry valley cut into the Lincoln Edge limestone near Ancaster, rich in chalk and limestone grassland flowers and butterflies. A mown grass path with steps climbs through the valley to a public bridleway, giving a short but distinctly hilly walk for the area.
