About this walk
Belvoir Park Forest is a 75-hectare working forest on the south bank of the River Lagan, a short drive from Belfast city centre. Waymarked trails loop through mixed woodland past a 12th-century Norman motte and old estate buildings, with plenty of sniffing opportunities and shaded paths. Dogs are welcome on the main circuit; keep to the marked trails and under close control near the river and wildlife areas.
