About this walk
The Giant's Causeway is a National Trust world heritage site on the Antrim coast, famous for its interlocking basalt columns. Dogs on leads are genuinely welcome here, including on the causeway stones, in the Visitor Centre and cafe, and on all four waymarked trails. The main route down to the stones is short and easy, while the clifftop Red Trail offers a longer, more strenuous coastal walk for energetic dogs.
