About this walk
A large former RAF airfield turned mixed conifer and broadleaf woodland close to the A1 near Colsterworth, managed by the Woodland Trust as part of Kesteven Forest. Wide rides and old runway tracks make for an easy circular walk through pine plantation, birch and open glades, with plenty of wildlife interest and space to roam.
