About this walk
Crook Hall Gardens, run by the National Trust, is a compact series of interlinked themed gardens a short walk from Durham city centre. Dogs on short leads are welcome throughout the grounds and even in the café, making it an easy, sociable outing. Only assistance dogs are permitted inside the medieval hall itself. Water bowls are provided, and owners are asked to bin waste in the general litter bins.
