About this walk

A waymarked walking and cycling trail running along the southern shore of Derwent Reservoir on the County Durham/Northumberland border, through Derwent Waterside Park. The route follows the water's edge with views across the reservoir towards Pow Hill Country Park on the far bank, and passes through mixed woodland and open grassland. A dedicated 12-acre off-lead field is provided for dogs near the park.
