A rare pocket of unimproved valley heath and woodland in the Lincolnshire Wolds, with steep-sided dales, streams and mixed woodland. Three waymarked routes range from a 1-mile there-and-back to the 3.5-mile Snipe Dales Round, with sturdy footwear recommended due to steep, often muddy paths.
