About this walk
A former gravel pit turned Local Nature Reserve centred on a large lake, with a flat, mostly surfaced circular path through grassland and woodland. Dogs are welcome off lead throughout the open park under Manchester's citywide dog control order, but must stay out of the children's play area. Links onto the Mersey Valley path network towards Ivy Green. Free car park on site.
