About this walk

A 70-acre Local Nature Reserve on former clay pit and brickworks land between Levenshulme and Reddish, now reclaimed as rough grassland, ponds and mapped country walks. Ground is uneven in places, a legacy of its industrial past. Dogs are welcome off lead in the open park under Manchester's citywide dog control order. A quieter, less manicured alternative to the city's formal parks.
