About this walk
Historic botanical gardens with rock and heather gardens, ponds and nature trails, adjoining Parsonage Gardens and Millgate Fields on the River Mersey. Dogs are not permitted inside the botanical garden, tennis courts, visitor centre or cafe, and must be kept on lead in the picnic garden and Top Terrace. The wider Parsonage Fields area allows dogs off lead under Manchester's dog control order.
