About this walk
A 200-hectare network of linked woodland, cloughs and reclaimed industrial land in the Irwell Valley (Bury borough), stitching together Drinkwater Park, Philips Park and Kersal Dale, close to the small heathland remnant at Kersal Moor. Trails are largely unsurfaced with some steeper clough sections. No formal dog-exclusion zones were found in council sources, and it is well used by local walkers with dogs.
