About this walk
Part of the Chorlton Ees and Ivy Green Local Nature Reserve on the River Mersey floodplain, combining ancient semi-natural woodland with riverside meadow. Paths are largely unsurfaced and can be muddy, especially after rain. Dogs are welcome off lead under Manchester's citywide dog control order. Connects via the Green Corridor 9 route to Chorlton Water Park, making it easy to combine both into a longer walk.
