About this walk
A Kent County Council country park near Ramsgate at the mouth of the Stour, with a flat, surfaced main path and a fenced off-lead dog zone. Dogs must be on a lead in the car park and are excluded from the play area, but can otherwise be under close control elsewhere. A Public Spaces Protection Order bans dogs year-round from the mudflats, saltmarsh, Pegwell beach and upper chalk shore to protect wildlife.
