About this walk

A large Kent Wildlife Trust national nature reserve running from Ramsgate down to Sandwich Bay, with hard-surfaced circular paths and grass tracks. A traffic-light zoning system applies at Sandwich Bay: off-lead with control from the car park to Prince's enclosure, on-lead within the enclosure, and a restricted-access zone beyond. Dogs must stay 10 metres from grazing Highland cattle and Konik horses, and off the mudflats, saltmarsh and upper chalk shore year-round.
