Mousehole is about as far west as Cornwall goes, and it runs on Cornwall's most generous restriction calendar: dogs are only restricted from the village beach during July and August. For the other ten months, the little harbour beach and the shoreline round to Skilly are yours, and the same short window applies along the coast at Penzance, Marazion and Perranuthnoe.

Where can you eat with a dog in Mousehole?

The village has genuine dog-welcoming form. Among the 20 reported dog-friendly places in our directory are the moondog cafe, which tells you everything about the local attitude, The Honey Pot, and the Mên-an-Tol Brewhouse a short drive inland.

What dog walks are near Mousehole?

For walks, two of Cornwall's great gardens are minutes away: the National Trust's Trengwainton Garden and Trewidden Garden both appear in our walks directory with easy, dog-friendly routes under the tree ferns. Add the coast path towards Lamorna for something wilder, and Mousehole makes a complete, compact dog break outside high summer.
